Robot event said Tesla Optimus robots were controlled by humans

Elonmas has done it again.

We heard that the Tesla Optimus robots shown at last week’s We, Robot event are not truly autonomous robots. There were people who realized this since the game.

AI expert Robert Scott Bell, an audience member at the We, Robot event, said he knew that Optimus was being controlled remotely by humans. One engineer Scott Bell spoke to said he used AI to make robots walk.

Morgan Stanley analyst Adam Yunus also commented that robots rely on tele-ops. The obvious thing is that when the robots respond, they all sound different.

At the We, Robot event, white and black Optimus welcomed the attendees. Drinking alcohol, From saying goodbye to playing with the tiger gun, they did it. In fact, this is not being done by Optimus themselves, but is being controlled by Tesla employees from elsewhere.

This is not the first time that Optimus robots, which means best in Latin, have been asked to move with the help of humans. In August 2021, when Tesla’s human-like robot was first introduced, it was demonstrated by asking people to wear robot-like clothes. At the 2022 exhibition, the prototype model had to be carried on stage by people.

Optimus, with human input and control, is what Elonmas says it “hopes to be the greatest product ever.” From teaching Optimus to babysitting; dog training From doing housework to becoming a confidant, Elonmas is expected.

It will take time for Optimus to become a high-tech product in the market. Also, the price of these robots is between 20,000 and 30,000 dollars, so it’s not cheap. If the robots are as powerful as Elon Musk says, Tesla will be hugely rich with wheelless robots.
